PSPx6 Upgrade Offer
Trying to take the upgrade offer, but it is showing a $79 price tag instead of the $59 in the PSPx5 offer window

Re: PSPx6 Upgrade Offer
Hello,
when I bought the upgrade (from Germany), it displayed the reduced promo price only at the very end of the process, right brfore the final step.

Re: PSPx6 Upgrade Offer
Mine showed $79 originally, but I noticed it was set to Australian dollars. I changed that to US dollars, and the price went down to $59 -- rather more than the exchange rate currently would show, but welcome nonetheless...
Mind you, in Australia/New Zealand we always have to pay a lot more for software than in the US. (Curiously, the NZ$ price also showed as $79, even though the A$ is about 15% stronger than its NZ equivalent!!)

Re: PSPx6 Upgrade Offer
For me it shows $79 for both US and Canada and never changes to the advertised $59 at any step. Naturally I did not do the "final step."

Re: PSPx6 Upgrade Offer
Just worked for me from the Trial Version "Buy now" page. Not sure if they fixed the other way, but it works if you use that option, then click on the "Upgrade for just $59" button on the sale page

Re: PSPx6 Upgrade Offer
Noticed on my receipt I got an additional 10% discount for some reason. Nice bonus as I wanted the box version so this covered most of the shipping cost.

Re: PSPx6 Upgrade Offer
Same thing just happened to me now; No code was issued in the promotion email, and the $59.99 price was suppose to be good until 9/3/2013. Of course, in US no one is live on the order line due to weekend and Monday Holiday.
I've sent some complaint emails to customer service, etc.
BTW, I see NO option to change currency.

Re: PSPx6 Upgrade Offer
Since I didn't see the email I'm only guessing but could $59 refer to PSP X6 and $79 to PSPX6 Ultimate?
PSPX9 | PSP2020 | PSP2021| PSP2022 | PSP2023 & PhotoMirage installed; PSPX | PSPX2 thru PSP2019 owned but not installed

It is for PXP Pro X6 Ultimate from the e-mail I gotKathy_9 wrote:Since I didn't see the email I'm only guessing but could $59 refer to PSP X6 and $79 to PSPX6 Ultimate?
Re: PSPx6 Upgrade Offer
Just tried it, too -- took it all the way to "Review Order" - the price dropped by $8 at some point -- but it was still $71.99.
Too bad, I probably would have popped for this today. I'm having problems with X5 locking up on my 12GB i7 Windows 8 PC and thought a 64BIT version could be the key. I have 64BIT Photoshop installed, but I'm not eager to scale that learning curve for the day-to-day stuff I do in PSP X5.
Can't submit a pre-sales support ticket (as as I can tell), and don't want to pay for support to pay for the upgrade, so I'll have to remember to call on Tuesday when the 800 number is working again.
This is kind of souring me on the whole upgrade -- especially considering how tough they've made getting support.
Guess it's time to start learning Photoshop...

Re: PSPx6 Upgrade Offer
I bought the program and finished up being charged $89 .
The email upgrade offer said $66 and was a special email to those that had supported Corell by having X3, X4, or X5. Wouldn't you think that by clicking on that link you would automatically get that special price .. ?? Hell no!!! You have to jump through extra hoops. You go to that other page where in big contrasting letters it says Save 25% , and still the cost does not change so you think that it will be changed at the end as others have mentioned.
I was sucked in because I overlooked that merged banner up above (who looks at banner adds when you are heading for the actual program prominently displayed and the offer of 25% less.
Apparently we are supposed to type in EXTRA15 as a cuopon code to get the advertised low price. Why they could not have had that down in the same place as the Save 25% so it read Save 25% - Type in EXTRA15 or whatever at that point is beyond me.
I sent an email back to thgem and complained , but no replies yet and getting a refund of the balance ($23) is like getting teeth from a chicken.
Bad move Corel, certainly will not be buying the latest from you again, will wait til you really have a sale on and wait for the lowest price, or perhaps even skip the next version altogether.

Re: PSPx6 Upgrade Offer
Tried the upgrade offer again (before the "deadline") and it showed the $59 offer at the checkout. In addition I could also apply the EXTRA15 coupon code (which did not work 2 days ago) and the price was reduced to $50.
Perhaps the user who used the chat line made Corel follow it's ad

Paul, just a little trick: post on their Facebook page, and they will take care of it with your information. Others have had it.

Re: PSPx6 Upgrade Offer
As a user of Aftershot Pro, and a rather long-time fan of Corel, I was pleased to receive an early-bird $59.99 offer (prior to Sept 3) for Paintshop Pro x6 Ultimate.
However, like many other users here, when I clicked on the ad and tried to buy it, the page that appeared displayed the price as $79.99. I tried to apply the EXTRA15 discount code but it did not work. Users on the online forum said a discount price would be applied during checkout to bring the price to $59.99, but this did not happen. The online store's final price was $71.99. I'm not happy about this.
Although this may just be an error on the Corel web-store, this mistake might lead users to believe that Corel is using advertising tricks to deceive customers. I sincerely hope this is not the case seeing that Corel has a good reputation for producing outstanding products.
I posted this complaint on Corel's Facebook page and hope to receive a reply from a rep. I also emailed ordersupport@corel.com and hope they will reply. Does anyone else know of an email address at which I can reach spmeone.
I'm not so concerned about the $10, but rather hate the idea of not receiving the adverstised price. If they made the checkout convoluted on purpose to confuse consumers, then I hope that several of us will put up a concerted effort to demand a refund to meet the advertised price.
