PSP X6 or any Online Purchase.

Post by DPainter »

Hi all.
Again I'm seeing while trying to purchase PSP online I'm seeing this at checkout,
"Site Temporarily Unavailable"
Thank you for visiting www.corel.com. This site is temporarily unavailable. Please try again shortly.
This was the same two years ago when I tried to purchase PSP X5. Support then insisted the online purchasing system was working correctly but wasn't for me. Still isn't.
Anyone else having this issue? If not, Anyone know why it could be happening to me and how it could be fixed?

I own and have registered PSP X4 I got from a store after online purchase of X5 failed and continues to fail even now after around two year.

I just tried it both by typing the address in manually and by using the link in your post - in both cases I arrived at a fully working and functional Corel Website - sounds as though there is something wrong either with your computer - or the means you use to connect to websites.

Checked with both IE and Google Chrome.

I use internet explorer 8 on an XP Home system to access sites. Occasionally I get a message that the site cannot be accessed and repeat attempts gives the same. So I copy the address and bring up Firefox and paste and usually all works OK again. Good reason for keeping a number of browsers available .
Systems available Win7, Win 8.1,Win 10 Version 1607 Build 14393.2007 & version 20H2 Build 19042.867

Curiously enough -- and FWIW! -- when I log on to the http://www.corel.com website, I have no trouble accessing the site. But here's the curious thing: I cannot find any reference at all to PSP X6. On various pages, I can only find offers of X5 at $109 (not sure if that is A$, US$ or NZ$!!!) I am using Chrome but get the same thing in Internet Explorer. (I don't have Firefox on this computer...) And yes, I have refreshed the pages to avoid the possibility that I am somehow or other receiving cached pages...

EDIT: I finally managed to find X6, but only by entering a link posted elsewhere in this forum, namely http://www.corel.com/corel/product/inde ... pplyCoupon I took advantage of finding it, and have now purchased the upgrade version of Ultimate X6.

Ken would it be that x6 is still yet to be officially launched? I was on the understanding that I read a Sept 4th launch date somewhere.

But it's been available all this week already and lots of people have already bought and installed it -- as I did once I had found the above link.
