6 PRO ULTIMATE -> Ultimate Creative Collection ?
Hi
Love new selection tools!
With download install of Pro 6 Ultimate I downloaded & installed something called Ultimate Creative Collection
which is a large file, but cannot find any info as to where it is, or what
it does.
Tried help & manual with no info. Can anyone give any details?
Thanks!

It installs brushes, textures and backgrounds you access from within PSP.

Does it work with the 64 bit version, or just 32?photodrawken wrote:It installs brushes, textures and backgrounds you access from within PSP.

Re: 6 PRO ULTIMATE -> Ultimate Creative Collection ?
Ken, I did run the exe file (twice) and I still cannot see any new content. I restarted the X6, checked in the 32-bits and the 64-bits, and I see no new content. It is supposed to be automatically added and accessible or are we supposed to do something else to see them?

PSP X6 Creative Collection
Hi,
A few days ago I've update to PSP X6 Ultimate. Among others I've receive the Creative Collection Package but the extra material seems being too poor after the installation. For examble, the tube button allows me to select from only 6 tubes (All categories)
What should I expect from the Creative Collection of the X6 package.
Any help will be appreciated

Re: 6 PRO ULTIMATE -> Ultimate Creative Collection ?
Cassel,
I really can't say for sure what installed what. When I first installed X6, I did a few tests and saw that there were the normal number of brushes available and a few textures. Then I installed all the optional content -- not only the stuff from the X6 download links, but also the stuff available after I registered for that standard Corel membership thing. So, there were the Corel_CreativeCollection and also the Corel_CreativeContent executables. When the dust settled, I've now got many more brushes and textures.

Well, that is what I would have expected but I still have only 10 tubes and am still missing the Foreground-Background gradient (I did find more brushes appear though). Do you have more?

Cassel,
Oh, yeah. I've got about 155 picture tubes, and also the Foreground-Background gradient.
I finally found where those "royalty free images" are --
"C:\Users\Public\Pictures\Ultimate X6 Backgrounds"

Re: 6 PRO ULTIMATE -> Ultimate Creative Collection ?
You don't need to know where the program installs its own picture tubes, since PSP creates a directory under your "My Documents" directory for picture tubes you may want to install yourself:
"...\Corel PaintShop Pro\16.0\Picture Tubes"
For the record, the program uses the subdirectories under the hidden directory
"C:\ProgramData\Corel\Corel PaintShop Pro X6\Corel_10"
for its picture tubes.
You can find the locations used for various files by using
File...Preferences...File Locations
from within PSP.

Re: 6 PRO ULTIMATE -> Ultimate Creative Collection ?
Hello everybody,
I have the same question, where are the resources from the CreativeCollection?
It did install two subfolders, one with 57 brushes, and one with 24 textures. All this together is about 12 MB, whereas the setup file has roughly 450 MB. I did look in all places, in the ProgramData folder metioned above, in the folder where I installed PSP, in the folders under My Documents, and found nothing more. Not that I won't like PSP if there isn't more of it (I'm using it since version 6, ca. every second version), but I can't believe Corel put together a 450 MB file only for those 12 MB?
And I don't have 155 tubes either, if I'm counting correctly, there are only 10.
BTW, after installing the collection PSP started again with the standard toolbar, I had to customize it again - now I saved the work space, just in case some Creative content sets it back again.

Re: 6 PRO ULTIMATE -> Ultimate Creative Collection ?
@photodrawken: Thank you for your advice, but I believe that there is an issue with the supposed extra material of creative collection
In the folder you mentioned ""C:\ProgramData\Corel\Corel PaintShop Pro X6\Corel_10"", and after the installation of the collection, there are only 5 subfolders ("COREL_10_01", "COREL_10_02", "COREL_10_03", "COREL_10_05", "COREL_10_15") with a total of 10 .psptube files. Is this the extra material of the collection?
When I select a brush there is a category named "Ultimate X6" in the tool bar so I am asking again if anyone knows: What should I expect from the X6 ultimate collection? only a 59 more brushes and some background pictures?

If the CreativeCollection is what installed the backgrounds here, the total size of that backgrounds directory (including its subdirectories) is 409Mb.Trilliana wrote: but I can't believe Corel put together a 450 MB file only for those 12 MB?
