Hey everyone,
I'm new here, so in advance, thanks for the support! I'll try to write in English as good as I can:)
I'm using Windows 8 for some weeks now and wanted to install the trial of PSP x5 before I buy it. After the installation, when I open PSP, I see a screen with 'registration'. I registered several times now, and every time I got a email with my registration confirm. I also see the serial number in my account on Corel.
But then PSP X5 does nothing. In the 'task management' I see that PSP is still running for a 14%. I see the topic 'Paintshop pro x5' but the rest of the screen stays white. I already tried to open it with other OS, turned my antivirus down, looked on this forum, Google... it all stays the same.
What could I do to get this trial started?

Re: PSP x5 TRIAL in Windows 8 problem
My suggestion, Wait.
Honestly, X6 is on its way, many people are already testing or have bought an early release. It's not out yet, but it is on its way.
If you still want to try and stick with X5, then I'm of no real help to you. I can't explain what's going on. But I would honestly suggest you just wait for the official release of X6 and try that instead.

One thing you might try, if you haven't already, is to uninstall X5. Then create a new temporary Administrator user on your computer. And try installing PSP from that account. Once its installed and if it's properly registering then you can delete that new account. I've been told it works for some odd reason, but I can't say for sure if it'll work for you or not.

Nope, doesn't work also. The trial works in the new Administrator user but not in the original.LeviFiction wrote: One thing you might try, if you haven't already, is to uninstall X5. And when would the X6 be out?
