Two quick questions:
How do I capture a screen, or frame and how do I get to the help files?
Thanks
(I did do a search prior to posting, nothing came up)

Re: X6 Screen Capture and Help Files ??
Hi
and welcome to the forums..........
I deleted your duplicate post, no problem.
Press F1 for the help files.
Screen Capture, I assume mean taking a snapshot of one of your video frames.
Select the frame so it is viewed in the preview screen.
Edit Menu -- Take a Snapshot
An image will be saved to the default working folder, a clip/thumbnail placed in the library.
You can take the shot in Project or Clip mode
Project mode will use the project properties for the image size and include what you see.
Clip Mode will use duplicate the video frame using the video dimensions.
Go to F6 Preferences – Capture tab to seyt the Snapshot format—default to BMP.
Hope this helps.

Re: X6 Screen Capture and Help Files ??
The help files can be accessed by pressing F1 on your keyboard when VideoStudio is the open and the active window.
The user guide in pdf format can be found on your computer in a location like - C:\Program Files (x86)\Corel\Corel VideoStudio Pro X6\UserGuide - depending on what version of Windows and VideoStudio you have.
VideoStudio offers a number of options for screen capture - you have not been specific in what you mean, You can capture your full computer screen or just a small part of it by using the screen capture option - to open that function look under the preview window but above the timeline for an icon which looks like a film reel with a red dot on it - click on that and from the box which opens choose "screen capture" - by default the capture option opens set to full computer screen - drag the lines around the outside to the size and area you want to capture.
Or alternatively if you mean you just mean you just want a still image in .bmp or jpg format then get the fram you want in the preview window and again open the capture choices (film reel with red dot) but this time choose "snapshot" - this will put an image of that frame in the working folder you specified.
Working folder and choice of bmp or jpg are set in 'Preferences' - press F6 when VideoStudio is open.

Re: X6 Screen Capture and Help Files ??
Thanks both suggestions worked ... but ...
While in X6, I can only capture a frame of the video (Called Snap Shot) is when the Preview window is in "Project" not "Clip" mode (Preview window, Editing window, small screen on the upper left, I don't know what that window is called).
Otherwise, yet the help files and screen capture worked like yous guys said.
Thanks -

Re: X6 Screen Capture and Help Files ??
Strange - you should be able to do it in either mode.
Try this to get an image in clip mode - get the frame you want in the preview window and put Videostudio in 'clip' mode - now under the preview window locate an icon which looks like a film reel with a red dot on it - click on that and in the new window which opens click on 'snapshot'.
