I tried moving Nik Color Efex 3.0 out of PSPx5 Plug Ins folder into PSPx6 Plug Ins folder, but that didn't work. Tried plugging in via Preferences...File Locations...Plugins... but that didn't work either.
I installed 64 & 32 bit version per the installation instructions. Is there anyway I can install Nik Color Efex that came with x5 into x6?
Thanks.

Worked only in the 32 Bit Version.
Copy that to the plugins folder

But since I did both the 64 & 32 bit installation, shouldn't I be able to access the Nik plug ins once I move them to the PSPx6 plug in folder? Not sure why PSPx6 won't recognize them if it still has 32 bit capability.

Nik Color Efex 3.0 works for me with the 32-bit version of X6. But the latest version Color Efex 4.0 is not working with X6.
It was working fine for me in X5. Nik Color Efex 4 is an important part of my workflow. I am very disappointed with this. Being a 32-it use I don't see the worth for money I paid for this update. I will go back to X5 till this issue is resolved in X6 (if it will ever).

If the plug-in is a 32 bit plug-in then you'll need to run the 32 bit version of PSP to be able to use the 32 bit plug-in. It's the same thing with any other program that's 64 bit, if you want to use a 32 bit add on you'll need to use a 32 bit program to run it.

How do I run the 32 bit version of PSPx6?
OK, figured it out. PsPx6 64 bit is in C: Program Files. PsPx6 32 bit is in C:Program Files (x86). I right clicked on the .exe file, made a short cut, dragged it to the desktop, and Nik showed up in the plug ins menu.

Yeah I was surprised as well about the 32bit vs. 64bit compatibility. I had assumed that someone had figured this thing out by now. I guess not. But from what I hear Adobe and any other company has the same issues, so it's not a Corel thing.
