Video Studio 15 starts and closes down immediately

Hello, New to this.
I use Video Studio ProX5. It worked o.k.
Most recently after starting it crashed and crashed. So, I uninstalled it and reinstalled it again.
Now, it starts and a second after it is loaded, it closes down again.

I tried to install it in safe mode as described on this page: http://corel.force.com/learn/articles/e ... source=kba

One has to download the file: Safe Mode Install Services.zip
It should contain 3 register keys according to the text, but it only contains one the missing ones block installing in safe mode.
So that is a useless link from Corel.
Questions are:
How come I cannot run VS15 any more,
What can i do to clean up the registry and make a clean installation?
How can I get the 2 missing files fro that Safe mode install servises?

Hello

I have never heard of that un-install method before - but a number of users have had success with the VS clean up tool - which you run in normal Windows mode.

Download the zipped file below - unzip it and then run the resultant file - it has completely un-installed X5 for a number of users .

Thanks for your help.
I Uninstalled VSS15, used the Cleanup tool. Checked out the installed software and indeed there was a thing called BrowserProtect. I removed it, checked out my browser ( I use Firefox) and re-installed VideoStudio again. Also installed SP1 and 2.

I started it and it stayed on. I have not had time to make any projects but so far it looks great and working again.
So, to all the professors who put me on the road again: big thank you and another thank you on top of that.

Thanks for the feedback , nice to hear you are up and running again.

The UK is also enjoying a remarkably good summer with temperatures at record highs, hopefully it will continue, a little grey today with a threat of rain, but it does keep the flowers growing.
