capture not appearing in edit

capture not appearing in edit
On capturing GoPro footage VS6 (library and time line) the file name appears in Edit but not the video. Have used VS4 up till now and have just installed VS6. Any help please....

And welcome to the forums
Go to Settings – Preferences (F6)—General tab
Change the Clip Display Mode to Thumbnail Only.
Does that cure the issue, if no can you give more details

Hi Trevor, thanks for your help
Done as suggested but not showing up, only file name. Tried again leaving in samples same problem.
At the import from digital media window. It says "there is no valid content in the path" Go OK and clips appearto be captured in window.
Not sure if this is a problem?

Hi
The GoPro video will be saved to memory cars, maybe SD.
You should transfer the clips to your pC using Windows Explorer, Copy and Paste the clips to the pc.
Then using Video Studio right click the timeline for Insert Video, browse for the files.
