Dear All.
Yesterday I bought and installed successfully Corel VideoStudio Ultimate X6.
Unfortunately the installation is in Japanese (the language of my operating system - Windows Vista).
Could you pleas let me know how can I change the language to English.
Thank you in advance for your kind help!

Yes.
I searched with the help of the forum search functions. I tried several different combinations ("language"/change language"/"change to English") but couldn't find useful topics.
A month or so ago (when I installed the demo version) I found something similar (I think I searched with Google than).
The answer was something like (if I remember correctly):
We first must verify that you purchased the program and after that we'll give you a link to a pack which you must install and the problem will be solved.

Re: Changing language from Japanese to English
Thank you for your reply.
I used Google again to search and I found the solution:
http://corel.force.com/index/articles/e ... 000000L4BB
Just in case somebody is readying this topic in the future - in the "Administrative tab" of "Region and Language" settings of the Japanese vista "Language for Non-Unicode Programs" is located at the top part of the window ("welcome screen and new user accounts" is bellow).
After restarting the computer may behave a little bit strange (it starts file system check up) but at the end everything is OK.

Re: Changing language from Japanese to English
Unfortunately the problem is still not solved.
Following the instructions from the link indeed changed the interface of the program to English but Boris Graffiti and many other advance plugins are either in Japanese or just show question marks instead of letters (as in the attached image).
Please could somebody help?

Re: Changing language from Japanese to English
Hi
Can you try re-setting the program to its factory default settings.
Manually resetting Corel VideoStudio Pro X5 to its Factory Default Setting
The instructions are for X5 but same for X6 using the folder 16.0
or
As your OP is now working in English try a re-install the bonus/extra content files, prodad etc.
and
Given that you have recently installed VS X6 I assume you are still within the 90 day free support period.
I would advise that you contact Corel Support for an answer to the issues regarding plugins.
