PDF Fusion a total nightmare

Post by mithras97 »

I can't believe what an infuriating and insulting experience I've had with this PDF Fusion. The lasatest insult was the hoops I jumped just to find and log into this blog. I was totaslly unable to get any help form the damned program, partly since it demands the seria lnumber for ONE chance at live help- but the seria lis full of ambiguous1/I o/0 characters and U can't even log it in! I loaded the program by disc, and first problem: the program insists that this is a 30 day trial promotion that I need to pay for. I already removed a trial promotion completely. But the program has no instructions whatsoever, beyond the breezy crap page about how easy to 'drag and drop.' I open it, open for a new doc, and one choice: to open my file with JPEGs that I want to combine into a pdf- when I select, it insists on creating a separate bar with file with each JPEG, and then there is no indication whatsoever of how I would create a pdf out of those. When I try to 'drag' it doesn't work. Then it started saying 'error' -'filters are not available for this file type' (JPEG). So all I could do was remove the damned program and load again. Still insists this is a trial program, though I paid full price for this piece of crap. If an admin actually reads this, please advise how to return this infuriating thing. And explain how you cvan include NO usable instrctions with a complex program that is NOT intuitive to use. My former pdf maker could crate a pdf out of an entire group of files like JPEGs, without whatever time wasting repetitive actions for each and every JPEG this may require, if it ever works.

It doesn't sound as though you are going to like my response. But this is the wrong forum. This one deals with Corel's multimedia programs, and despite its being on the Corel servers, it is not run by Corel. None of us here are Corel employees -- we are just users who volunteer their time to help other users.

The problem is that I too have no real idea where any forum relating to PDF Fusion might be. There is a separate set of forums for the CorelDRAW family of products, but Fusion does not appear to be listed there either: coreldraw.com/forums/‎

But unfortunately, you are not going to get any help here unless by chance one of our users also uses Fusion...

The PDF Fusion forum is part of the WordPerfect Office forum. It's more of an office program than anything else.
