Hi
I am testing out VideoStudio X6. I was positive until I tried to make a video from .jpg. I am not able to do so. I have tried every capture option availabe, and get different errors, like "file form mismatch", cannot open display and the list goes on.
I have used the day to read about it it, try to update all drivers, nothing is working.
Anyone who can help. If I am not able to do this I cannot buy the program.
Best regards
Jeric

Hi Jeric
and welcome to the forums
How are you trying to insert the images…..
Right click the timeline and select Insert Photo, does that work, if yes ignore the rest of this post.
If you have searched the forum and read articles regarding graphics drivers then you have probably read about my experiences.

It was however later in time that the problem with Jpegs was noticed.
Other users have also had similar problems and fixed by updating their drivers.
Checkout the web site to see if the other issues are affecting you.
Also
Jpeg Images compressed using Progressive can cause problems for some software, Baseline seem best.

Re: Cannot insert any pictures
Hi Trevor.
I have tried every way in the manual to insert pictures. Does not work with any of them. Right click timeline does not work either.
I have also seen you link, and read it several times, but does not help. Windows also say all my drivers are up to date.
I have also tried to import .bmp .gif and .png files and it does not work either. I feel a little lost....
Best regards
Jeric

Hi
Just a question. Does anybody know if it would help to reinstall Videostudio.
This is quite frustrating
Best regards

Re: Cannot insert any pictures
Hi
Not sure, but re-installing may be the way to go, whether that cures the problem I don’t know
First try resetting the program to its default state.
Resetting VideoStudio Pro X5 to its Factory Default Setting
These are for X5 but same instructions for X6, “Rename 16.0”
Are you sure its not the graphics driver???
