DVD MF3 Copy from DVD / Edit

Hi all > I'm trying to copy a Ulead Video Studio burnt DVD into MF/3. It does copy and I can edit but when I try to erase the unedited file on the DVD R-RW I have a message that says that the disc is copyright protected. Where I'm I going wrong ? (Don't say buying a computer)

Not sure why it thinks the disc is copyrighted -- do you have the proper standard throughout -- like NTSC or PAL

What is on the dvd disc -- is it in valid DVD form (VIDEO_TS folder with *.IFO and *.VOB files), or is it a raw video file -- like *.avi or *.mpg

When you burnt the DVD in VS did you choose the format from the
top drop-down list and select "Fast Editable"?
2 Options are:
1 - Dvd-Video
2 - Fast Editable
