error when I want save the movie!

Every time when I want to save the video, in any format, this error shows up. WHat is this and how to fix it?

VideoStudio Ultimate X6 16.0.0.106

Reinstall doesn't work. This error shows up exactly at 7% saving.

Unfortunately, you have not given us enough information to even begin guessing at what might be wrong. The dump is also useless to us as none of us here works for Corel -- we are all users like you who volunteer their time to help out others. Only Corel tech support know how to interpret dump files.

First of all, though, tell us exactly what you mean by 'save the movie/video'. Do you mean you go to File > Save (or Save As), or do you mean you select Share > Create Video File > then select a format. Or do you even mean Share > Create Disc > then select a format for the disc (e.g. DVD, AVCHD, Blu-Ray)?

Next, we need to know the properties of the video in the project. Where did it come from? What edits did you apply? Please right click on a video in the VS timeline and copy ALL its Properties here == or upload a screen grab of the Properties box. Do the same for other formats if you have more than one type of format in the project.

Next, what video comes at about the 7% mark in the project. Do the individual clips at around that point play properly? What editing did you do at that point?

Finally, I notice you have not updated VS. The current, updated version number is 16.1.0.45. You will find Service Pack 1 at http://www.corel.com/corel/pages/index. ... id=6500001

1. save movie I mean "Create Video File" format, HDV and DVD regardless of the format, show up this problem.
2. I checked on the movies from: video capture from webcam (in corel), recorded video phone 3gp, and record desktop any program. Every time ehen I want to "Create Video File" A progress bar reaches the 7% and snip, show up this error and off program.

previously I used the X5 and everything worked, so it's definitely wine of a new version

First off, I would recommend you update VS with that service pack, and see if the problem still occurs.

Hi

What do you mean by “fast slide show”

If the render process always fails at 7% then what is in the timeline at 7%

Your timeline shows multiple clips.
Right click your clips and select properties, what are they?
Do this for video and image clips.
If using audio clips, again what are they? Mp3 can cause some problems use Wav.

When you Share Create Video File – now what option do you choose.
-----------------------------------------
You seem to indicate that this happens with every project irrespective of its content. Is this correct?

Start a new project
Using a few video samples from the library insert to timeline.
Share Create Video File – DV16:9 option.
Does that fail?

How many times do I have to write: I used already 20 movies in different formats (avi. mp4. mpeg. 3gp. wmv.) no matter what I insert to the project, all the time cuts of 7%! Sorry last up to 2%!

Hi

Sorry didn’t mean to upset you. Just trying to help…………

You say “How many times do I have to write”
Till you fix your problem, or you give up.

Did you take the time to use the library samples? if these fail then we can assume it’s not the type of video being used, then look elsewhere for a solution.

We don’t seem to know anything regarding your actual video files properties, AVI for instance has approx 800 different types.
It does however seem strange that all types give problems.

I notice that you do not show details of your PC specification, can you update your profile to include these.

Ken asked a question regarding service packs, recommending that you update, have you done that? service pack 1 is available.

So yes we will ask questions, hoping that you answer, and I still don’t know what a fast slide show is.

If we cannot help then you are best contacting Corel Support

I have just edited your previous post removing the obscene wording. If you continue to use this sort of language then you will be removed from the forum.

Given that X5 is also giving problems I would assume its associated with your system not the software.
We are just like you Video Studio users, we do not work for Corel, we are here as volunteers to help if we can, to do that we need some answers to our questions, even so I cannot be certain in curing your problems.
