VideoStudio X6 Import from Digital Media PROBLEM

Post by Dzoni0000 »

Hello to all.

I have a huge problem with my Corel VideoStudio Pro X6 . I am trying to import from digital media, but it won't read file formats on DVD. I know that those are VOB files, and it worked well, and now it won't read it. Does anyone know how to help me? I changed the file format from .VOB to .MPG and in that case I can add that chapters as a gegural clip. I can't o it from Import from Digital media. I hoped that you understand what I want to say.

The error that pop up's says:

1. The file formats of some selected files are not supported.

2. There is no valid clip.

P.S.
Sorry for my bad English.

Thanks
Nikola

Hello

Hmmm - I have just tried to import from digital media for the first time using X6 - and after I had selected my DVD in the first window and clicked "start" I was very surprised to see that error message as well - never had that before - something is obviously going wrong somewhere.

BUT - I then clicked on the OK button in the error window and surprise surprise the "import from digital media" browser opened showing all the videos on my PC - - - DO YOU GET THAT ?

I then found I could browse down that list until I came to the titles on the DVD - if you can see them then you must now click the little box in the top left corner of each of the thumbnails for the titles you want to import so that they have a tick in them. the "start import" button now becomes active and clicking on it started the actual import.

I can not explain the error message - that is clearly wrong but it does not seem to affect my digital media import - see if it works for you
