Quick Compare

Post by donniem »

Is there a way to do a quick compare of the original image to the changes I've made? I realize I can create a new version from the original and compare it side-by-side by highlighting both, but I think it would be nice to have a way to use a shortcut key that overlays the original on the edited image and once the key is released, the original disappears. Also, I don't want to create a bunch of versions just for comparison reasons. This feature would make it really easy to see modifications. If this isn't possible today, I should move this over to the feature request category.

Thanks in advance.

You can also create a new version of your file to do all your edits on and then compare to the original untouched version. (Edit menu, versions)

The method mentioned above basically reverts to original with CTRL+R and then does an undo. Be careful you don't do anything in between to disturb the undo chain or you could lose your edits.
