Hi all...
If I want to "burn" my DVD with another program...Can my final created video file be an AVI or does it have to be an MPEG? What are some good authorizing programs?
Thanks, Dan

It depends on what format that other program can accept. Sticking with DVD-compliant MPEG2 will save you from having to convert again, but this is up to you.
If all you want to do is burn the DVD using another program, then output an ISO file instead -- this is an image of the DVD with all of the files and the folder structure, and can be written using many other programs.
But I really question why you don't want to burn using UVS. The only area where it falls short is in the flexibility of the DV menu structures and the templates.
