How do I find the current version of VSProX6 that I am running?

I have tried numerous times to download the Newblue TitlerEX from the "Do More Tools" tab. I get an "Your download is ready. Install Now" notice, but nothing happens and nothing appears in my download folder. What am I doing wrong?

What are you doing wrong---nothing

First there is a similar post regarding the TitlerEX installation.

Robert I assume you cannot see this filter, if not then there is certainly a problem with the auto install.
From Video Studio the NewBlue Titles will show from the FX library, to the bottom of the list. After expanding the “all” panel
Do you see this listed?

The Do-More Downloads are saved here:-
C:\ProgramData\Corel\Downloads
The folders having strange names making it difficult to identify the content, do a search of the Downloads folder for NewBlueTitlerEx.exe

Double click this file to manually install.

By the way if you cannot locate the folder then you will have to activate Show Hidden Files and Folders via windows explorer.
VS X6 version number via the Corel guide, click the cogwheel top right, that’s wont be an issue.

Thank you for the info, but the download does not seem to be anywhere on my computer. Is there anyway I can change the location to where it downloads, or any other suggestion as to how I can accomplish the download of this Newblue TitlerFX?

As I mentioned the Download folder is “hidden” by the operating system.

Open any folder
Organise—Layout—tick Menu Bar, will show as File Edit View Tools Help

From the menu bar
Tools
Folder Options
View Tab

Tick Show Hidden Files and Folders

Now go to C:\ProgramData\Corel\Downloads

Search this folder for NewBlueTitlerEx.exe

Thank you for your detailed response, but even doing all of that, there is nothing there dealing with FX.

I do very much appreciate your help. In my most recent post, I got distracted toward the end and said I could find nothing related to FX. I should have said nothing related to NewBlueTitler. I have examined every file in the downloads and nothing has either a date anywhere near my attempts to download this, or any name even similar to NewBlueTitler.

When I am using VSProX6, at times a popup screen will appear telling me a download is ready to install, but nothing happen when I click "Install". This routine has continued daily since before I first posted on this board.

Thank you for the link. I downloaded it and it installed as a separate entity as a trial program or purchase for $99.00, but it still does not show up in VS, so I think I will just give up on this at the moment. I do appreciate all of you help.

Maybe I will try again later when I have more time.

Something strange here…. The Titler should install to this folder
C:\Program Files (x86)\Corel\Corel VideoStudio Pro X6\vft_plug
The file is called “Titler.vft”

I assume it has installed to the wrong location
Search the computer for “Titler.vft”
Move the file to the vft_plug folder

I am also having some issues in activating your posts, the first two should require activation however I seem to activate every post.

Are you receiving Post Notifications.
Can you add our e-mail address to your address book or mark us as a Safe Sender

Thank you. I have added that address to both my address book and the safesender folder. Has this fixed your having to approve me each time? Yes, I have been receiving both the notice when you approve my submission and when someone posts a reply to my post.

Titler.vft does now show in the vft_plug folder, but it doesn't show in VSP, so I don't know what is going on. NewBlueTitler is not critical to me, so I think I have spent enough of your time trying to resolve this issue. I will just do with what I have and perhaps await a fix or update by Corel.

Not to give up, last try

Reset the program to its factory default state will reset the library, if you need your clips then back-up the library.
These are the instructions for X5 but X6 will use 16.0 folder.

and as you received the activation notification, that is still an annoying issue????

I contacted Corel and they sent me a download link to re-install Pro X6, but that didn't help either. The popup screen that tells me a download is ready to install, but nothing happens when I click "Install", still pops up, mainly at program shutdown. The NewBlueTitler download doesn't even show in my downloads file or folder, but it keeps saying it wants to install. Too weird!

The re-install from Corel did finally make my "Ultimate" bonus pack work, which it didn't previously, so I have actually made progress.

Newblue Titler EX now works! I don't know why or where it came from or exactly when, but I went into FX to pull a totally different effect, and there was Newblue. It definitely was not there the last time I went into FX.
