Install Videostudio Ultimate X6 over Pro X6 Trial

greetings from a newbie to the forum.

I have been around for a video editing program and I Videostudio X6 looks the most suitable so far, especially for the simple UI.

I am still in the trial period, for which I installed the PRO version, downloaded from Corel. Now I would like to buy the ULTIMATE edition as a box from a local reseller.
What I would like to know, if this path will require me to remove and reinstall (and most probaly, patch) or if I can simply license the product using info provided in the box and then install the additional effects and plugins of Ultimate edition as a separate install from the DVDs in the box.

And welcome to the forums.

Uninstall the trial version then install from your dvd disc.

As far as I know the serial number provided with the disc/boxed version will not work with the download versions.

Even so I would always Install from the purchased version.

I followed the same route. Scrap the download and install from the disk.
One advantage, if, for some reason, your version faults, you can use the repair function from the original disk.
