Hello! I'm new here and hope that my question it will not be too silly.
Well I don't want to have xmp files in same folder with pictures. Is there any way to keep editing data just in database or simply to save this xmp in a separated folder? Thank for your help!

Re: I don't want XMP files
xmp with the raw is exactly what I DO want ... not stored in some remote catalogue.
You are welcome to use the catalogue, as many do.

Re: I don't want XMP files
Just import into the catalog and set the preferences to not write XMP files.
But please do not come complaining when your catalog is corrupt and all your settings are gone.
cheers
