Re: Cresent moon
You can make your own.
1. Open a new document /image File > New eg 1000 x 1000 pixels and for color tick transparent box.
2. Choose selection tool (shortcut S) and Selection Type Circle, Mode Add, Feather 0.
3. Left Click in the centre and drag to get a circle (marching ants) .
4. Choose a middle grey from your Materials palette and with the Flood fill tool fill the circle with middle grey.
5. Hit S again to go back to your selection tool and right click and drag your selection circle til the part outside the selection is the size of crescent you desire. Hit the delete key, Selections > Select None and you now have a grey crescent.
6. Double click your grey Crescent layer thumbnail and you get the Layer properties dialog box. Choose the Layer Styles Tab.
7. Tick the Preview on Image box at the very top. Tick the Bevel Box and try Size 50 Opacity 50 and play with the little image to change the lighting direction.
You can also tick the Emboss box and play around with the controls there, or make a drop shadow. Plenty of effects to give you your 3d Crescent.
