the new ASP update 1.2.0.7...Same problem with my sony a57 and with any lens..tint up at max 150 and temp varies wildly at small adjustments...files are unusable because of this and production come to a grinding halt with some irate customers...totally frustrated at Corel. I have raised technical support with them for 3 days now (refused to pay the £19 for a problem that is theirs)..their response is slow, time wasting and no solution as yet.
If corel admin are monitoring these blogs, as they should be...!...give me a total refund, as i have requested already. You have mis-sold me the product, claiming that it can handle sony a57..and its not even in your camera profile folder (supposed to be in v1.0.1).
In fact in v1.0.1 i was able to view and adjust arw from sony with no temp / tint problems..it was when the v1.2.07 updated, then probs started...i reverted back to the older version, but unfortunately the prob stayed the same.

Corel, your 'buy support ticket' for £19 if your product is out of its 90 days...90 days..! warranty (your product is only as good as 90 days..?) is a slap on the face....and refund on a product within 30 days of purchase - this 30 days should be on everytime you update, because clearly in this case YOU have made the product unusable.
Having said that.....I LOVE ASP...fab workspace layout, amazing image rendering, fast, packed with other features, so simple to use...it was the best on the market, giving Capture One (from phase one) a run for their money, and miles ahead of lightroom...so yes, I am upset that Corel have not addressed this issue since it has been raised several months ago...Corel have a fantastic product - come on team..wots the hold up?..you are losing customers who could promote your product and make you rich..!?
Rant over.....anyone suggest any progs that can do similar adjustments to raw files?? (even free progs like picasa, irfanview can see the arw files and perform basic adjustments)
or
has anyone found a workaround / solution to the temp / tint issue?
Thanks in advance

Now that ASP 2.0 is released. It would mean the end of free updates and no more fixes to the white balance issue.

FWIW, you can change your .ARW from NEX-5N to other camera like NEX-6 or NEX-F3. The white balance will work again. Although I think there is still bug. For example, when entering white balance value when the preset is Incandescent or fluorescent. The same value would result in 2 different colors.
