I think we're all in agreement that the underlying code is doing something, it "works", however given that it doesn't do anything of value at normal viewing sizes it's hard to really say that it works in the usual sense.
I did see the comments in another thread about a replacement for Noise Ninja being in the pipeline, until that's released, any new users of this application will need to live without noise reduction (or use the Wavelet plugin, which I tried but wasn't impressed with) which I'm sure isn't going to be acceptable for most. An external noise reduction tool is an option, but why suffer the pain of a non-integrated workflow. I can see now why Corel is giving away the application for 80% less if bought with another application, it's missing a key functional component!
