Hello members,
I'm new to this forum, so let me say in advance, thanks for the support. My issue is minimal. Tried google, but no luck in finding a solution. Whenever I close & restart PSP x5, the tray that I'm working with is clear. I didn't have that issue with PSP x4. Am I missing something. Tried unselecting Corel PSP from the cleanup of CCleaner, but that didn't work. A solution would be welcome and appreciated.

Re: Small problem with the tray
You didn't mention which trays are a problem. I don't have X5 but I do have a tray issue with X4. If I use the default tray, the one you can't remove, it loses images all the time. Any tray I add using the + tab, keeps all its images. Maybe that's a work around for you?

Re: Small problem with the tray
I also have that problem with the default tray in X4. The trick is to not use the default tray but create your own and save them. That wasn't necessary in X2.

Re: Small problem with the tray
Hey guys,
Thanks for responding, Sorry I didn't specify which one I was having the issue with. It's the tray that I create, which loses images whenever I close and restart PSP. Funny thing is with x4, that didn't happen. Created trays maintained. I'll post back if I figure it out while using it today.

Re: Small problem with the tray
I guess I didn't think to test the custom trays in X5 when I ran the trial version. I saw that they had fixed the default tray and assumed that they hadn't broken the custom trays in the process. I looked back at my notes that I took while running the trial version and I mentioned that I did lose some pictures from the default tray occasionally but not all the time. I never mentioned the custom trays in my notes so I'm pretty sure never checked those.

Re: Small problem with the tray
Hi Linda & Forriner,
So, I just realized the problem. I was being absent minded and going back to PSP's open tray but, an empty folder. Duh. My brain decided to work yesterday and allowed it to occur to me. When I opened it today, to a folder with works in progress, everything was as it should be. Sorry If I made your heads hurt too. Thanks again for the help. I'll be back I'm sure.

Re: Small problem with the tray
I just came across this thread. In X6, if you add images to a tray from Collections, they stay in the tray from session to session. However, if the images are from a directory that is not in the Collections those disappear when you close X6. I set up Collections for the directories I use frequently and wanted to use the tray to have readily available for a while images from directories I seldom use.
According to Corel they set it up this way intentionally; I have not idea why and don't like it at all. Once I add images to a tray I want them to stay until I decide to remove them.

Re: Small problem with the tray
I dislike that the images don't remain in a custom tray from folders. They fixed this in X5 and now it's broke again. It was mentioned during testing.MarkZ wrote:I just came across this thread.
