This is one of the reasons why in the past we did the pre-release beta testing before the final code was released.
Corel seem to either do automated in-house testing or blind in-house testing which is not good as you only test to find what you expect to happen.

I think there must be a second release coming as I dont think all the 29 cameras slated for support are actually in that release drop.

That link worked, finally.
Thank you very much!

Mm.
I second that impression
I also think so, or at least it launches quite faster.

Looks like NN works again (at least for NN license holders).

cheers

It does and I am very pleased.

Thanks for the D600 support...but is it only me who get a few lines of garbage pixels at the right border of the converted JPEGs?

Hey, you are right. I can even see that when I open the NEF directly. Have a look at the dimensions. The D600 produces pictures of 6016x4016, but ASP says 6064x4012. This is not correct. So we have 48 pixel too many in the width and 4 pixel loss in the height.
On the other hand, when you open the JPG (coming directly from the camera) instead of the NEF, the dimensions are correct.
This can't be good. Hope they will fix this soon.

welcome to one of the oldest, most annoying and whatever bugs of aftershot.

if you use CA correction and do not crop a few pixels from the edge, you will get those garbage pixels.

it has nothing to do with the dimensions that aftershot uses, it is a bad algorithm doing the CA-corr. please report it to the monkey, maybe someday corel will finally listen and use one of their employees, let him spend an afternoon on this project and make the life of thousands of users of their software better. PLEASE!!!!!
Bibble since 2004. Aftershot until 2020. From then on darktable.

I looked into this and found the following:
- I did not use CA correction.
- If I open NEF files, all of them have the wrong dimension (6064x4012), but not all of them have garbage pixels on the right side. (This confuses me the most and that's the reason why I did not see it right away.)
- If I open JPG files, everything is all right (dimension 4016x6016 and no garbage pixels).

Same here, I got garbage pixels with all D600 (but not D3 or D200 or D1x) raws, with or without CA correction.

It's weird, because before v1.2.0.7 was out, I opened D600 raws with ASP by editing the EXIF to fool the program that these files were from D800, and got exactly the same garbage pixels.

I just got a D600 and loaded some images today into ASP.
Same problem shows as a red/magenta line on right side of image for RAW file.

+1

I do not have CA enabled but I still get the magenta pixels on the right side of my image.
