I've been successfully using PhotoImpact X3 on my desktop PCs at home and at work. One machine runs Vista home premium, one runs Windows 7. Both are 64 bit machines. Utilizing PhotoImpact's High Dynamic Range dialogue box, I created custom camera profiles to use in SmartCurves. A few of the custom profiles are not to my liking and I want to delete them. How do I do that?
Also, is there a way to copy a custom camera profile from one computer to another? I can't figure out where the PhotoImpact application stores these profiles.
Thanks for your help --
Mike

Re: How to delete custom camera profiles in SmartCurves
Hi Mike,
I was hoping one of our camera buffs here may have been able to help.
Wouldn't the files be in your Easy Palette? Practically everything you create should go into the Easy Palette.
I just checked on the High Dynamic Range dialogue and click the Save As icon. You must have created a folder somewhere to save them.
Perhaps redo a hdr, click to save the settings and see where it goes.
As for the custom camera profiles, again, these should have been saved in the Easy Palette. Try making a new one and locate where it's saved. I can't see why the profile can't be copied and placed into a folder of PI on another PC, but then I'm not in any experienced with the photo end.
Have you ever thought of using PSP? It is far better for photography than PI.
