This is the first time for me on this forum, so I will assume the specs to my PC that I inputted during my registration to this forum can be found.
I have a Dell XPS 8300. I just received VideoStudio Ultimate X6 from Amazon 3 days ago. Whenever I attempt to open VS, an error window comes up saying that
"The program has encountered an unspecified error and has stopped functioning. Please contact Corel Technical Support and send the dump file for analysis."
My main concern right now is time. I have a school project due in 4 days. I was hoping someone could help me out. I have not done anything besides register the license and install the product. If there is anything I need to do, please let me know.

Have you tried right clicking on the icon and choosing 'Run as Administrator'? What happens if you reboot the computer and try opening it again?

Ok. I figured out the problem. I installed VS into by USB Backup drive because I'm planning to build a new PC. Once I uninstalled and reinstalled into my main drive C: , it was able to load without any issues. Thanks for attempting to help. I appreciate it.
