Hi JK,

Does Lightzone has any function similar to the GradFilter Pro plugin?

Thanks.

I don't get this. I've got an RX-100 and it was supported in the previous release. I don't understand why it appeared in the list of newly supported cameras.

And both in the current or the previous release the lens correction metadata is not included, which is essencial for the huge distortion of the RX100...

That's the case for a lot of lenses. I haven't seen a Corel-supplied one for ages. The third post in this thread works for me.

Rick Champagne wrote:Hi Everyone,

As promised, we have been working on a camera profile update for AfterShot Pro and I'm happy to report that were able to get support for 37 new cameras! I also wanted to give you the heads up that we'll be releasing this update this week! Here is the list of new camera profiles:

Canon 100D
...
Sony NEX 3N
Sony NEX-5R
Sony NEX-6
Sony NEX-7
Sony NEX-F3
Sony RX100

While we couldn't get samples for all the cameras we wanted to add support for, we're still really excited to be bringing this update to you. Please stay tuned for a formal announcement regarding the AfterShot Pro update over the next couple of days...
This gets me thinking. It seems raw file format had not changed. What does it mean by the highlighted text? Does it mean that the profile is generated using a sample taken by the respective camera? What if they got a bad sample? e.g. photo taken in the wrong condition, bad camera, etc

By changing the EXIF camera model of the same raw file, I see colors changing left and right. Some subtle, some significant (like NEX-3N). It would be sad if each profile is based on a sample of 1, as there could be a lot of room for errors.

I wish there is a way for me to modify the camera profile inside ASP. Like a .txt or .xml file...

The built-in camera profiles can't be accessed anymore unfortunately.
But you could create your own and load them in the CM tool.

Have a look at the Tool palette, you'll find the Color Management tool there.
The mechanism shown by Pascal De Bruijn works also for AfterShot: https://encrypted.pcode.nl/blog/2010/06 ... profiling/
AS also uses Argyll for camera profiling. The shipped profiles have a bit of manual tweaking, but that is nothing earth shattering.
You might need to double exposure when sending the calibration file through AS to work around an old bug. It's been a while since I looked at the process...

I installed the update but aftershot pro still will not open raw files from my Panasonic LX7. Did I miss a step?

Would the files happen to have been "touched" by another program?
