I know this is probably the wrong place to post this. BUT
Core Support is insufferable.
I have registered my product. When I log in, I see it in the list.
I have no "Support code".
I have spent 20 minutes trying to figure out how to send them the dump that the program says I should send them so they can find their problem.
So.
I'm going to post it here. They cam pick it up or not.
In general, I'm very happy with CVS. I've used X5 and just bought X6. So I'm not a whiner.
BUt Guys!!! Get it together for support.
When you put so many roadblocks in the way of sending you a bug report, you reduce the quality of your product.
If you are going to have such a difficult support policy, then the program should have sent the dump automatically to you.
Sigh.

Re: Crash Dump during export of video
Unfortunately the dump file is of no use to us at all - we have no idea what it all means
and it is very very unlikely that anyone from Corel will pick it up from here
WE have not put anything in your way

Sorry to hear that
I'm sorry to hear that Corel has no forums of their own and does not check these fine forums either.
Looks like they are not very serious about support even tho they apparently spend money over at Force.com to provide a portal for it.
Thanks for allowing me to place it here.

Re: Crash Dump during export of video
Well, I suspect Corel thinks of us as "their" user website for their multimedia programs -- or at least are prepared to house this forum on their servers. But as you probably realise by now, none of us here are Corel employees, just users like you who volunteer their time to help out other users.
While none of us have any idea what those dump files mean, maybe if you gave a bit more information about how and when the error appeared, what format video you were editing, what you were intending to produce, and what editing you had done, then maybe someone here might be able to offer some advice...
