there is an error with your audio device

hello,

when i want to record the monitor screen and press the record buttton of video studio pro x6, i get the message: "there is an error with the audio device" (my version is german, so it says something else, but this is what it means)

i clicked on the I of I/O on "internal audio signal"

i already read somewhere else, to go to control panel->sound-> recording tab->enable/activate stereomix, but no change...

Hello and welcome to the forums, sorry for the delay in our reply to your question.

There have been many problems with recording sound, unfortunately we don’t all use the same audio devices or drivers so the problems can vary.

I was able to record system audio by using the Voice option, then choosing Sound Check allowed me to choose an Input Device other than Mic. Maybe that option will work for you?

Some details from Corel Knowledge Base refers to X5 and enabling Stereo Mix, should be the same for X6, make sure you followed the instructions.
