re download previously purchase PSPX2

Post by eliean »

My computer recently crashed and my backup disk is showing an error and states it has been illegally modified - which is rubbish.

As a result I need to re download my legitimately purchased PSPX2, but can't find anywhere to contact Corel Customer Service by email
for something that isn't covered in any of the support boxes.

As I am in Australia it is not practical to ring them.

Helpful advice appreciated.

Hello,

this certainly works for programmes which you purchased by download - not at all sure if it works for Disc versions - but you might like to at least check it out :-

Go to the http://www.corel.com website and log into your account - the one you use to register your products.

On your account page scroll downwards until you see "Your Order status and History" under that click on the order number for your purchase.

in the new page which opens scroll down until you see the option to download again.

That error message will appear if the Protexis Licensing Service is stopped. You may want to check your Services to make sure Protexis is started and set to automatic. Hope that helps.

Brian - I don't have that actual wording in my Account but I do have a "Registered Products'' section which contains my Product and Registration No. but no Order No.,
but I get no response when I click on the relevant product.

Kathy - I checked Protexis after you posted this and it was enabled so it wasn't that, but thank you for your input..

I am however very pleased to say I found a Folder containing my original download zips on the external drive where I keep Duplicate images etc.,
Needless to say it was in another Folder of the wrong category.

I have installed all these and I am extremely happy to say everything seems to be running OK.
Thank you both for taking the time to reply, it was much appreciated..

Very pleased to hear that you have managed to sort it out satisfactorily for yourself - but for my future reference - do you not see these highlighted items on the image below. :-

Ummmm..........how red is the red for embarrassment?
I must have visited my account page several times in my efforts to find it and there it was all the time.

I cannot believe I didn't see that at the bottom of my screen.
'Senior moments' are a curse, but ''senior plus'' moments are just embarrassing.!

My apologies;

No it's quite alright Eliean - I just wanted to clarify whether it was there or not so that I can modify what I direct others to in the future - please do not be embarrassed.
