Reinstall VideoStudeo X3 where to download?

Hi,

My installation of VideoStudeo X3 now crashes so I need to reinstall. I was wondering where to re-download the install file? I bought the software as a download.

Go to the www.corel.com website and log into your account - the one you use to register your products.

On your account page scroll downwards until you see "Your Order status and History" under that click on the order number for your download.

in the new page which opens scroll down until you see the option to download again.

Excellent! That's a good system. I notice all the updates are still there. I should be up and running again soon

It might be an idea this time to actually store the downloaded files somewhere safe -- burning to a DVD might be a good, safe target.

Yes I agree.

In fact I am going to do an experiment. I have a oracle virtual box with Win XP installed. I will set up X3 inside it with all updates. If it works I will back up the complete VM. This way I may end up with a working installation frozen in time forever.

Well the VM works, however I have fixed my crashing when rendering problem. I had changed the video card. I switched off hardware acceleration and it came good.

Response is slow in the VM but it would be OK on a grunty modern pc.
