Post by Cobalt »

ok so i have Paintshop Pro x4, was working great then all of a sudden when i went to open it one day, it starts crashing and giving me the blue screen of death. first thing i do is try it again and same thing blue screen. so i do a full uninstall and reinstall and same thing, blue screen. try downloading the trial version of x5 and same thing happens there, blue screen. but now when i try using x2 it starts up fine. so now im turning to you fine folks in hopes you can steer me in the right direction.

I did a Google search on igdpmd64.sys

and there are pages about that that point to a bad update from microsoft.
One page that gave a suggestion for what to do was http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/wind ... c084110473
Systems available Win7, Win 8.1,Win 10 Version 1607 Build 14393.2007 & version 20H2 Build 19042.867

I have nothing on your problem, Cobalt, but my version of X4 is 14.3.0.3 so yours isn't the last version. Just so you know.
