How to paint such simple figures/characters? Vector?

Post by NBG »

Hi,

how can i draw such easy characters?

Image

The should have all the same size, antialiasing and on some points a white border.

Also it would be nice to just grab a point of the elbow and turn the arm etc.

How can i start? Vectors?

Thanks,

Vectors are one of the easiest ways.

However, you would not just pick a single point to move the arm, you would select all of the arm points and move them. With some quick touchups on the points they are connected to. As is true with most other vector programs.

PSP has some decent vector options, but they're very very basic.

In this case in Inkscape is "trace bitmap" fastest way.

- result as SVG (vector) - http://lab.php5.cz/drawing.svg
