Hi board,
Some time ago I managed to download the Paint Shop Pro 9.0.1 update from Corel's FTP server. It was for the Dutch version (Dutch_PaintShopPro901_Jasc_Patch.exe). After a new system install I wanted to download the patch, but this page isn't working anymore: http://www.corel.com/6763/psp_downloads/pub/update/
Another page I found archived the old PSP9 patches http://www.lecuistre.net/pages/I1vC99/
Now I've got two questions:
1. Is there any chance of getting the PSP 9.0.1 Dutch patch through Corel. I much more prefer an original site then some unknown download site.
2. If Corel can't provide this patch anymore, is it possible that they provide the MD5 hash, so I can check if the file from the previously mentioned website hasn't been tampered with.
Thanks in advance
PSP9Lover!

Re: MD5 hash Paint Shop Pro 9.0.1 Patch
I had for some time been unable to install the PSP9.011 upgrade on my version of PSP 9.0. Evidently it only works on PSP 9.01 (9.0 that had been upgraded by a patch to 9.01.) The previous post on the Corel user board gave a link to the corresponding patch for the Dutch version, but this won’t work on the English version. However if you look at the source code for this patch, the actual URL is:
http://www.corel.com/6763/psp_downloads ... _Patch.exe
Acting on a hunch, I changed “Dutch” to “English” and came up with the following URL.
http://www.corel.com/6763/psp_downloads ... _Patch.exe
It works and installed on my system.
But, first I had to remove and reinstall the orginal PSP 9.0 from scratch. I had previously added to it two upgrades: psp9gdiplus and psp9ieplugin. The sequence was as follows (after removing what I had):
Install PSP 9.0 from the disk
Run English_PaintShopPro901_Jasc_Patch
Run en_psp9001_jasc
Run psp9gdiplus
Run psp9ieplugin
Finally after years!!!

Re: MD5 hash Paint Shop Pro 9.0.1 Patch
The links given in this forum triggered me as I' was also searching for the Dutch updates of JASC Paint Shop Pro 9
So for those whom it might concern:
JASC's website was transferred to Corel's when they acquired JASC somewhere in 2004. But; the website was transferred 'as is' so without adjusting the original sites links.
So with a little trick all JASC patches and downloads still can be found and downloaded from Corel's site!
Here is how it works:
If you want to go for example to the public 'root' of the of the fromer JASC FTP-site. It should be: ftp://ftp.jasc.com/pub/ and it can be found at http://www.corel.com/6763/psp_downloads/pub/.
This means you have to copy the part after ftp://ftp.jasc.com/ and paste it to the part after http://www.corel.com/6763/psp_downloads/ in your browsers address-bar.
So if you want to go to ftp://ftp.jasc.com/pub/update/ you have go to http://www.corel.com/6763/psp_downloads/pub/update/ instead.
Tip: The pub/update/ part is also mentioned on the top of the FTP-page itself.
And if you want to download 'en_psp9011_jasc.exe':

this last one was not mentioned here, but it could be handy
Notes:
- The FTP-site of JASC was transferred to Coral's HTTP, not to their FTP-site.
- You can use a right-mouse-click on the given URL and the then appearing menu to copy and past links. You can also use the key combinations like Ctrl+C and Crtl+V to copy and paste.
