Bendgee with another problem! I have captured a video with my little sony photo & video camera and some how there is a scene in the video TWICE I have tried everything to remove one section read instructions but they do not work, or I am not doing the right thing.
I have tried to trim the clip using the in and out markers and it says to delete the unwanted portion . there is no action or place that I find to do this ( tried many hours )

Re: Cannot delete a section in a video
Hi Bendgee,
You can save your selection between the brackets to a new file by going to Share->Create Video File. Then choose your format. In the Save box that appears, click Options and choose Preview Range. Then click the OK button, give your file a name and click Save.
If you want to remove a portion of a clip, move the scrubber to beginning of the part you want to delete. Then click on the small scissors in the bottom right of the preview window. Then move the scrubber to the end of the part you want to remove and click on the scissors again. This should split your video into three clips in the Timeline. Then in the Timeline, right click on the piece you want to get rid of and choose delete from the menu. If you choose to get rid of the middle piece then move the two remaining parts together so that the final video will be continuous.

Re: Cannot delete a section in a video
With the piece of video you want to remove selected (yellow lines all round it) simply press the "delete" or "del" key on your keyboard.
