Video Studio 8 or DVD MovieFactory ?

Post by paulwho »

Hi there all,
Since I've installed my Capture Card into my computer, I received some software. Ulead V/S 8 & DVD Movie Maker. I've installed V/S 8 and have been using this program to capture, edit & burn to DVD from some old analogue Handycam 8 tapes. The other software I got was Ulead DVD Movie Maker. Is there any point in also installing this program ?

Movie Factory is DVD authoring software that has some basic editing features added. Video Studio is video editing software with some basic DVD authoring features added. Many on this forum use VS to edit and MF to author. For my purposes VS does both well enough, for now  Wouldn't hurt to install it and give it a whirl.

Thanks Black Lab for your help also > Like you I think I'll stick to what I know. but that's not much. Just enough to keep getting into trouble.
But with the wealth of knowledge in this forum , it doesn't take much for to get put back on the rails.
