Hi Folks,
Having had major issues with New Blue Titler EX for X6 where, when trying to use the effect resulted in the error "Titler can't work due to low CPU capabilities" which, if you look at my computer specs. that's not the case, anyway, after contacting Corel Technical support, they identified the problem as being with the ATI OpenGL driver and to contact both New Blue and ATI to seek a resolution.
New Blue confirmed that Titler EX does have a conflict with ATI Catalyst driver set 13.4 and that whilst they have rectified the issue with New Blue Titler Pro 2.0, at this stage other versions of Titler still need to be resolved.
Both New Blue and ATI recommended rolling back to an earlier driver set and reinstalling Catalyst version 12.8 did resolve the issue.
Just thought I would let you know, in case others come across the same problem.
Robert

Re: New Blue Titler EX for X6 & Catalyst 13.4 Driver Set
Thanks for that Robert. I have had problems with the Titler plug-in in the past, to the point that I have not even tried using it in the past year... Mind you, as far as I can tell, my Radeon HD 7690M XT drivers show in Device Manager -- as far as I can tell
-- that they are only version 8.882.2.3000 dating from 2011, though the Device Provider is shown as Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. and not ATI. I confess, though, that I am not sure if there is a difference. And when I go into the Catalyst Control Center and look for an update, it says it is up to date.
