Win7 x64 and Nvidia GPU acceleration causes noise

Post by sedgetone »

Card = Nvida 560Ti
Driver = 310.70 WHQL

I love the fact that you've included GPU acceleration. I've got an issue when working with the GPU mode enable though where I get digital noise, especially when I crush the blacks or push the whites. I tried 306.97 and 295.73 and all three drivers exhibit the same issue. Really hope you crack this as it's really fast and responsive otherwise.

I'd be interested in knowing what cards the developers are testing this feature with? It would be good to see a list of supported cards on the system requirements.

The general OpenCL recommendation independent of AfterShot is to use server class cards, not the gamer stuff.
FirePro instead of Radeon for the ATIs for example.

So on the nVidia side you mean Quadro type cards right?
