Unable to share project in any way

Post by Jim Delta »

Hello everyone.
I'm running VideoStudio Pro X5. I spent all day yesterday on a little project and wanted to get it to youtube afterward. Unfortunately, none of my share options seem to be working! I've tried creating a disc, creating a video file, and uploading directly to youtube, but after everytime I try, I get an error message and VideoStudio closes out. I tried with the demo of X6 as well. The error message says APPCLOSE and gives the dump file, I believe. Please, help me in any way you can. I spent A LOT of time working on that, and I don't want it wasted.

Welcome to the forums.

However, before we can try responding to your problem, we need more information. What is the original format of the video in your project? And where did it come from. Please right click on one of the clips in the Video Studio timeline or the VS library window, and copy ALL the Properties here, or take a screen grab of the Properties box and upload it here.

Have you ever successfully made a video for YouTube or anything else with X5?

Sure, here are the properties.
File info:
File Format: Microsoft AVI Files
File Size: 676406 KB
Frame Rate: 30.000 frames/second
Duration: 326.700 seconds (Edited down to only a few seconds, along with all other clips in the video)
Data rate: 2068.24 kbps

Video info:
Compression: Bandi MPEG-1 Video Decoder
Attributes: 24 bits, 1912 x 1012
Total frames: 9801 frames

Audio info:
Compression: MP2
Attributes: 48.000 kHz, 16 bit, stereo
total samples: 15679872 samples

Recorded using the program Bandicam. Most of the clips have no audio at all, though there is a music track and a second music track (which is actually a voice-over, but I put it into a second music track) in addition to subtitles. The total project is about 3 minutes and 46 seconds long. Yes I have used X5 in the exact same way as I attempted to this time; my last upload was fairly recent, though it was only about a minute long. Thanks for the help!
