Windvd pro 11 will not install sp1

I recently had to re-install corel windvd pro 11 on my windows 7 home premium computer. After re-installing the program when I try to install sp1 I get an error saying corel windvd pro 11 must be installed first. The program is listed in "programs and features" and I am able to open the program and play a bluray movie. I have confirmed that the update is for windvd pro 11 and that the version I have installed is that as well. I am using the default install folder and have tried keeping the default of c drive and changing to my second partition where I normally install programs.
I re-downloaded the installer from corels website by logging into my account and viewing the order details for when I purchased the program. The download link gave me a file called "WinDVD11_Pro_PF" which after entering my serial installed with no issues. I then clicked check for updates from the about screen which takes me to the patches page with an sp1 update listed. The version of corel windvd pro 11 installed on my machine is 11.5.1.3 LOGID300902.

Can anyone tell me why sp1 will not install?
Did the installer I downloaded include sp1 and if so why does the error message not say so?

By checking this site you already have the latest version installed, It took me some time to find this page, though I had the exact same message appearing when trying to update both SP1 and SP2.
