[OT] iMatch 5 help file avaialble

Post by ferdinand-paris »

I mention this here because I know that a number of Windows-based ASP users are also iMatch users (Francis - are you still here?) and ASP is one of those converters with a file system mode that fits well with a DAM like iMatch. We have from time to time discussed how to integrate B5/ASP with external DAMs.

iMatch 5 has been coming for a very long time, but it seems that it's nearly here, or at least the public beta is nearly here. Mario has just made available the help file for iMatch 5 ahead of the imminent release of the beta. The help file is available to users with a license for iMatch 3.5 or later, as will the beta when it is released shortly. More details here:

Hello Ferdinand,

Yes still around. Had some problems and stayed away from the IM forums for some time, simply no time left apart for cataloguing with IM3.6.

I just registered on the new forum and am reading the Help/Manual. It is of course much better than the old one (that's easy) and gives the impression IM5 thrives to become the alpha and omega of DAM. It seems almost too much, who will ever need/use all this? Anyway, exiting times are ahead for those who want a full-featured, hyper-loaded cataloguing tool.

I'll put a comment on the adhoc IM forum...

Francis
