Newly purchased licenses - are for Aftershot 2?

"aftershotpro.log" file refers to license key being for 'Aftershot Pro 2', for the purchased serial number (purchased last week) that only works on v1.1.1.10. And this new serial number can't be used to register older versions of ASP.

So... does that mean that recent purchasers of Aftershot will be getting a free upgrade to version 2? And that it might be coming out sooner than later?
