Re: How do AVCHD video cameras record to internal memory
I have a Panasonic TM 700. It has 32gb internal memory. You have the opportunity to choose whether to record to internal memory or sdhc card. On my camcorder it does come up with the message to back it up either to card or download the footage as soon as possible in case of internal memory failure. I have always used Sandisk extreme cards and footage I recorded 18 months ago still is fine on the card (I found an original one the other day and looked at it to see what was on it). I have used 32gb cards for some time and found them reliable and excellent quality.

Re: How do AVCHD video cameras record to internal memory
Thanks Ian
I intend to either record directly to SD card OR regularly backup video clips from internal memory to external SD card and then backup the SD cards to usb memory stick as well using a PC.
