Audio Problem after reload

I unfortunately had to rebuild my machine recently, and with that, had to reinstall VS8. I have the AC3 plug-in, and have it installed.

The problem is that when I want to modify the MPEG audio settings for the project.

I go to Share -> Create Disc and then click on the Project Properties button at the bottom. I then click on the Change MPEG Settings button, and select Customize. I click on the Compression tab and then click on the drop-down for Audio Format, but all that is available is LPCM and MPEG.

What am I missing, and where is it?

You can only select AC3 audio if the Media Type in the Compression tab is set to DVD (either PAL or NTSC), but not if you specify MPEG2.

The media type is greyed out, but the selection is NTSC DVD. I still don't have the option of using AC3 audio when trying to create a disc, and can't change the media format to verify whether or not it can be used with other formats.

I uninstalled the AC-3 PowerPack and rebooted, and then re-installed it, and was abel to choose Dolby Digital for audio. Thanks!
