I purchased PSP X5 Ultimate "download' version. The order receipt has a button to click on to view installation instructions. The "installation instructions" is a video, and it mentions only doing a first-time installation. I already have a prior version of PSP Ultimate installed. I asked tech support for information, specifically regarding how to upgrade, but the response I received says to watch the video. It seems like the questions I asked were ignored, so I am hoping somebody here can give me advice. My 2 questions are:
1)
Should I uninstall the old version before installing the new version, or can I simply install the new version "over" the old one?
2)
The older version of PSP Ultimate included some plug-ins that are not included with the new version, such as the "KPT Collection" and the "Magic Bullet Photolooks", both of which I use frequently. Will I be able to use those plug-ins with version 5 of PSP Ultimate?
If yes, then what is the installation procedure?
Thanks in advance for any advice offered.

Re: How to Upgrade PSP?
1) You don't upgrade PSP.
All versions of PSP are full downloads and installs. So every version of PSP install side by side for those who want to use multiple versions for various reasons, or want to keep older versions for reference. So you don't have to uninstall your old version of PSP if you don't want to.
But if you don't want that old version to remain on your computer. Go ahead and uninstall.
2) The KPT plugins will be available for download in PSPX5 after you register your product from the new Corel Guide built into the program.
PhotoLooks, however, will need to be moved and referenced separately.
As far as I know that installer was specific to PSPX4. If you know where it's saved you should be able to move it to PSPX5 and reference it properly. But this is more of a guess since I never installed it. So before you go uninstalling, you need to locate the Photolooks plugin in your Program Files and back it up for use in X5. Someone who has actually done this might be able to help with the specifics.
