in my batch settings I've selected images to be resized on jpeg-export to "Resize Long/Short" to "2048x1365 [long/short]". Some of my images (in landscape format) are indeed 2048x1365, though others are 2047x1365 or 2048x1360. Why is it so?

Export of resized files
Hi all,
in my batch settings I've selected images to be resized on jpeg-export to "Resize Long/Short" to "2048x1365 [long/short]". Some of my images (in landscape format) are indeed 2048x1365, though others are 2047x1365 or 2048x1360. Why is it so?
Thanks for your hints!

Re: Export of resized files
The aspect ratio is not changed in the batch queue. You only define the bounding envelope that the image has to fit in. So if your image does not have the exact aspect ratio that fits the constraints, one of the sides will be shorter than specified.

Re: Export of resized files
I don't understand this frankly. Yes, some images have been cropped inside ASP, but always in 3:2 ratio. That's why I'm confused why some outputs are different than other...
Through all my exports the same size is preferable as those images are being uploaded to my website - if there's a difference you can see it in comparison

Re: Export of resized files
Use the larger value in both fields, that makes life a lot easier....
