I've used the KPT plugins for years without a problem, including KPTGoo, currently part of the KPT Collection that comes with PaintShop Photo Pro X3 and X5. However, I've successfully (no error message) used it in the past in KPT 6.
Recently, after creating frames to make a movie, the following error message is returned when I select Output: .avi. Full Frames Uncompressed). I've tried every video compression mode...frame rate...and image size with this same error message resulting:
"There was an error in the movie plugin. Movie was not created."
I've researched (googled) this quite extensively and haven't found any reference to the above error message.
The error is returned regardless of which paint program or version I use, in which the KPT Collection is installed.
I'm totally at a loss as to what the problem might be and hope to find an answer here.
Hopefully, I've provided enough information and described the problem sufficiently.
Thanks for any help with this perplexing issue.

Followup: Re: PaintshopPhotoPro3 Ultimate - KPT Goo Problem
After trying various "fixes", which included codecs and different players, it finally occurred to me that the problem was Windows-based and not program specific. I did a repair/reinstall and am now able to create and export animations, as well as play .avi extension video's. However, I still don't know what the exact cause of the problem was; e.g., an overwritten, missing or corrupt dll or file.
