Ct'ed.

Upsetting the values in Colour T° and Tint
Manually decreasing T° to min and increasing Tint to max
Manually decreasing T° to min and increasing Tint to max
Manually setting the values to the ones that were picked by Click white tool
Values manually set to the ones picked by the tool
Values manually set to the ones picked by the tool
Am I good ?
If so, the behaviour you describe (and we can see with your samples) doesn't happen here.

Yeah I think you did the thing. I ve got 2 way to show that there is a general problem with the white balance and the RAW files of the canon 5D

- A) test A to reproduce the pb:
1) for example just choose :
white balance on SUNNY (which will give the values Temp: 4519 tint 20 ) - in your french ASP  en choississant la balance des blancs en Soleil cela donne Temp: 4519 teinte: 20
2) choose now custom white balance with the same values Temp: 4519 tint 20
=> For us there is a huge jump in terms of color change

- B) another way (B) of this color shift:
1) set the white balance with the color picker tool (pipette de blanc) . note the value - In your case 4499 / -8
2) set manually this values with the custom white balance - in your case 4499 / -8
=> the result with my RAW files is really different in terms of color . see my post here

Now coming back of what you did it seems that you do not have any color shift between the pict WB-5 and the picture WB-2 - there are small but it seems that they are the same. In our case (see again my post) the color are really different the pict above is more yellowish, the own down is reddish. The white balance used have the same value except that one is base on the predefined value "sunny" and the second one is set with the custom white balance

One more issue with this: because of this crappy bug, when I want to make a tiny change in the WB I just want to add +1 of tint, it make a big jump in the color...

Hello AsterixEtObelix,

So, this is a problem related to this camera model.
I sincerely hope for you and all those whose camera isn't correctly (when not at all) handled, that Corel guys will release a new version soon - that is, before or for the summer, not when we all are senile -
Some people there wrote about other promising software, including Phottivo and Darktable.
I had a look at both but couldn't make my mind so far because :
- Phottivo's manual is only in spanish, and the software doens't seem that easy at first sight, and
- Darktable doesn't run under s**** (which is the OS I use for some weird reasons, the most important one beeing I'm too lazy to change for linux  )
And you, Corel guys, will you pull your fingers off your *** and commit the release ? :?:

Goodnight everyone, have nice dreams about ASP becoming what it always ought have been... 8)
