Yeah I think you did the thing. I ve got 2 way to show that there is a general problem with the white balance and the RAW files of the canon 5D
- A) test A to reproduce the pb:
1) for example just choose :
white balance on SUNNY (which will give the values Temp: 4519 tint 20 ) - in your french ASP

en choississant la balance des blancs en Soleil cela donne Temp: 4519 teinte: 20
2) choose now custom white balance with the same values Temp: 4519 tint 20
=> For us there is a huge jump in terms of color change
- B) another way (B) of this color shift:
1) set the white balance with the color picker tool (pipette de blanc) . note the value - In your case 4499 / -8
2) set manually this values with the custom white balance - in your case 4499 / -8
=> the result with my RAW files is really different in terms of color . see my post
here
Now coming back of what you did it seems that you do not have any color shift between the pict WB-5 and the picture WB-2 - there are small but it seems that they are the same. In our case (see again
my post) the color are really different the pict above is more yellowish, the own down is reddish. The white balance used have the same value except that one is base on the predefined value "sunny" and the second one is set with the custom white balance
One more issue with this: because of this crappy bug, when I want to make a tiny change in the WB I just want to add +1 of tint, it make a big jump in the color...
