Question Regarding SP1 & SP2

Post by cliffpan »

Hi all,

New to and loving PSP Ultimate.... The only problem I'm having is that it is crashing quite often and I'm wondering...

Even though I bought it about a week ago, do I still need SP1 & SP2? Or is that taken care of in the latest version?

Windows 8 - 8 gigs ram

Thanks for your help and any ideas as to why the persistent crashes....

Yes, you need to ensure you've got the latest service pack installed.
Simply use Help...Check for Updates.

The latest version is 15.2.0.12. (The ".2." signifies Service Pack # 2)

Thanks Ken,

I downloaded and 'attempted' to install both service pack and on both installation attempts it said that the software was "up to date" and closed the installation.

So I'm assuming that my recent purchase included the service packs.... Yes? No?

Thank you

It is unlikely that a new purchase would include service packs - but it is quite possible - depending on your settings, that the service packs were installed automatically after your original installation.

Check the version number as previously advised for final confirmation of whether the packs are installed.

Yes, it did include the service packs... the 'about' shows the lastest ver.

And BTW, ALL... crashing problems were resolved when I deleted the ImageDB.db over here.... C:\Users\Cliff MP\AppData\Local\Corel PaintShop Pro\15.0\Database

Thanks for the help to all
