Something I haven't met before and can't find in the manual. Not sure what I touched but a red bar has appeared on the timeline, running from the start of the project to the point where I was editing. Now it will only play the project from the start to this point and I can't add a title after this.
How can I clear this red bar?

Re: VS9 - red bar across timeline
This is a quote from a 2011 post by BrianCee in answer to a similar question:
John - the 'red/orange line' indicates the selected portion of your project - it is activated by moving the little orange 'hands' (trim markers) under the progress line under the preview window - (it can also be set by pressing F3[in] or F4[out] ) this sets a mark in and mark out point so that you can play just a selected portion of your project - it is also very useful if you want to share just a portion of your project - if you set up selection with the orange line when you go to Share >> create videofile you will have the option to use only the selected portion - same with audio - so you can output just a section. It is reset by pulling those little orange 'hands' to the very ends of the progress bar - I guess that while scrubbing you must have accidentally moved one of the orange markers.

Hi
This is the Project Playback Range
View this web page for further details, second item.............
http://lata.me.uk/corel/bluebar/blue_bar.htm
Not sure if all these details refer to VS 9, nor whether the blue bar is actually blue ---- the program is a little old

Re: VS9 - red bar across timeline
Thanks both. I did search before posting but neither of these threads came up.
